So far, this basement project has cost us about $2,000 in supplies, $2,000 for carpet/installation and we are paying Dave (neighbor/contractor) $2,000 for doing the work as CJ is helping him.
Honestly, this is going to be so nice when it's finished. We have such a huge basement, no sense letting all that space go to waste but now I have credit card debt! So, we need to pay that off. We also 'financed' the carpet with Empire. We get one year to pay the $2,000 without interest/finance charges so realistically I could pay that off in a few months but since I have a year I'll have time to save! This means....

I get my DVC!!! I will have all debt paid by September/October. Then, I will be able to put a down payment on Bay Lake Towers!!!
This is, of course, as long as all goes as planned and well, that's a risk. I was hoping my boss would take CJ on part time but at this moment she is not ready to make that move so he will continue to work as a blogger/article writer making about $400 - $500 a month - that's enough money to pay his car payment every month.

I don't know why i didn't think of this sooner! I am helping to plan two weddings, right? Well, one chick has family from all over the place and she's all beside herself because not everyone can actually attend the wedding. I need to hook her up with a company who provides live video streaming services - that is the obvious solution!
This way, everyone will be able to witness the wedding even if they can't physically be there!

I decided the best gift, besides money, I could get my niece who is graduating from nursing school is to get her a bunch of medical scrubs that will last her a long time.

Now, I guess 'technically' she's not my niece anymore - she is Jeff's niece BUT, we still chat and keep in touch via Facebook.
Yes, she is getting money from me but I think practical gifts go a long way! I know she'll be grateful, she was talking about how expensive they can be. However, I know where to get them - the ones that are excellent quality at a decent price!

So, exercise has been put on hold yet again because I am still sick. It all started at the very end of our Disney trip. Once we were home I went to the doctor and she confirmed sinus infection and started me on antibiotics.
In the meantime, Olivia started with coughing and congestion and then Jeff got it. So, no matter where Livi was, she was around people who were sick. Then, last I think Saturday, Dante started with a fever, then Sunday night Wyatt had one but Dante's was gone. By Monday I was feeling crappy and today I swear I have bronchitis - I've had this before and so I have just made another call to my doctor.
I'm pissed - I was planning on getting CJ some cool MMA Clothing - probably a few shirts, as a motivational tool. Like, here's a 1X - you want to wear this awesome shirt, you gotta fit in it! We both watch The Ultimate Fighter and love it! We were going to 'compete' and now, I'm so sick - again!

Does your business have it's own website? What about a blog? Do you think it's easier or better for your company to create and manage your own sites? Sometimes it is - but anyone who has a website knows that it takes a lot of time to have one run well and look excellent.
This is where web design companies come in and in my opinion, local companies are best. They're easy to find too. For example, if you're in Orange county, CA - all you need to do is search for web design orange county and viola, there they are.
Now, sometimes exactly what you're looking for is not in the very first few results, make sure you browse through a few pages of results. There are often times really great companies buried in the results.

We went to a cool trade show recently and of course there were a bunch of displays I couldn't tear myself away from.
In fact, I saw one peninsula display that really caught my eye! I bet it would not be difficult to think up a theme for a home based business! It was a cool Disney exhibit from a travel agency who specialized in Disney vacations. I'll tell ya what, it really 'sold' people on booking a trip, even in this bad economy! The visual aspect of a trade show exhibit can really entice people to buy.

I spent 2 hours of my life at the doctor's office and then across the hall in Xray and finally, after 2 days, I got the call regarding what the xrays showed.
No shit...the doctor, in her lovely lab coat and all, looked at it, felt around the base of my toe and the side of my foot and asked if it hurt where she was feeling. Nope. She touched my toe and I whimpered. She told me toes heal within 3-4 weeks and that unless it's broken by the joint, there's really nothing to be done. If it is broken by the joint I could possibly need to see a podiatric surgeon.
With that being said, she sent me to xray and told me that I didn't need to stick around. The call came 2 days after that, it's fractured.
She told me to just wear comfortable shoes and take Ibuprofen or Advil and that was that.

Seriously, I did....I posted about it HERE
I have been lucky enough to find work online as an independent contractor. I suppose that's as independent as one can get, huh? However, there was a time when I had to put on scrubs and a lab coat and go to work every day. I actually miss those days. Working from home is super exhausting. it's not all roses. It gets lonely, it gets frustrating and with kids, it gets damn near impossible sometimes!
I seriously work about 8 -10 hours a day- EVERY day. Not straight through though. It's a few hours here and a few hours there. I was up at 6 am yesterday and by 11 pm I finally called it a night. However, because I am home and have other responsibilities I have to constantly stop working to do other things and take care of the kids, etc... The extra $2,000 a month is nice though!

I freaking deserve something awesome - trust me....so, I've been looking at these gemstone bracelets and I absolutely love this one

Gorgeous - my birthstone, sapphire. Hey, Mother's Day is coming up...this isn't too much to ask for. I mean hell, Zyon has spent over $4,000 in the last 2 month on guitars...
